Luna de miel en Palermo
Leading by example is the key to dictatorship and General Sarmiento has a plan: assassinate the former head of the Army in exile in Buenos Aires. Killing Prats is key to demoralizing enemies and a bloodbath, the ideal baptism for Mike and Mary. The "gringo" wants to show that he has what it takes to carry out the most extreme attack, while the writer takes advantage of the trip to get in touch with an old love. Sex and betrayal were always inseparable companions.

At home, they receive a visit from Carlo di Mantova, a libertine Italian with the task of coordinating the attack on Bernardo Leighton in Rome. DINA's idea is to use sarin gas, but Di Mantova's idea is to shoot him and keep the gas. The Italian misses and Leighton survives. Mike, upset, finds refuge between the legs of Lieutenant Lagos.

Trópico de Cáncer
Two anti-Castro Cubans come to take refuge in Mike and Mary's house with an impressive resume: they have just blown up a Cuban plane in mid-flight. Although they are old colleagues, Mary is not very happy hosting these two men who are as dangerous as they are lewd. And on top of that, Cony hanging around the house. Quickly, the Cubans begin to generate a series of problems and the DINA leadership gives Mike a clear order: he must hand over one of them to the FBI so that things do not get out of control. Mary gets too close to a classmate from her literary workshop as he approaches a violent end. Cony, saddened by the sudden absence of her boyfriend, begins to associate too much with the dark Aqueveque.

Fiestas Patrias
Allende's former Foreign Minister and Ambassador Orlando Letelier annoys the Pinochet regime. Even from far away Washington DC. Mike is assumed to be the solution: he is willing to fly to the United States and destroy Letelier with one of his explosives. In the middle of a party, Mary discovers another hidden facet of her husband: she was spying on her all this time and there are recordings to prove it. Mary, furious, goes to complain to General Sarmiento and he falls with the full weight of her contempt. "Mary, DINA doesn't care about you and your award was all set up to keep the gringo happy" they tell her. Mike commits the brutal attack, Simón suffers bullying and discovers his own violent side, and Cony ends up discovering Aqueveque's.

Cerrar por fuera
Committing an attack within the territory of the United States will not go unpunished and a prosecutor arrives to capture Letelier's murderer. Whoever it. General Sarmiento, cornered, unleashes an internal cleansing. Mike, Monica and Mary, each with their own agenda, get wrapped up in a web of betrayal and meanness. No bond will ever be the same again and fate looms tragic.
