La semifinal de MasterChef será una dura batalla en la cocina, con tres pruebas de nivel profesional que dejarán fuera de la final a un aspirante. La Prueba de presión planteará un postre de Jordi Roca, maestro pastelero del mejor restaurante del mundo, El Celler de Can Roca. Se trata de una versión particular de la manzana de feria que presenta tres texturas: compota, espuma y caramelizada. Un trabajo laborioso por la dificultad que conlleva dominar el caramelo. El que cautive a Jordi Roca y sobre todo, al jurado, conseguirá la primera plaza en la final y no tendrá que hacer frente al reto en exteriores.Un reto que devuelve a MasterChef a sus orígenes, donde todo comenzó: la Plaza de Oriente de Madrid. Los aspirantes recordarán los inicios y la emoción que vivieron durante el macrocasting.
