La emoción continúa entre los fogones de MasterChef. Después de despedir a Paloma y Juanma, 13 aspirantes continúan persiguiendo su sueño.El tercer programa de MasterChef comienza con la Caja Misteriosa, que oculta animales vivos. Los concursantes competirán en la cocina por el título de capitán en la prueba por equipos.Divididos en en dos grupos, los aspirantes viajarán en el tiempo hasta la Edad Media para servir a Isabel la Católica, reina de Castilla. MasterChef se cuela en el rodaje de Isabel para dar de comer a todo el equipo de la serie de TVE, entre ellos Michelle Jenner, William Miller y Jordi Díaz.Los actores y técnicos de la serie serán los comensales y decidirán quién es el equipo vencedor en esta prueba.Los perdedores, como cada semana, se enfrentarán a la eliminación en plató. La competición está al rojo vivo por lo que los aspirantes tienen que esforzarse al máximo en cada prueba.
