MOTD Live: UEFA Euro 2024 - Semi-Finals: Spain v France
Coverage of the opening semi-final, which comes from Munich Football Arena, where the winners of the first and second quarter-finals meet. Spain were far from their best during Euro 2020, but still managed to reach this stage, before losing to eventual champions Italy in a penalty shootout. This time around, though, they have generally been regarded as the most impressive team in the tournament, progressing from a challenging group and then seeing off Georgia and Germany in the knockout stages. France, in contrast, have scraped into the semi-finals, remarkably without any of their players scoring a goal from open play. They've only scored three goals in five matches - two own goals and a penalty - and needed a shootout to defeat Portugal in the quarter-finals.
