Ο Θράσος γλιτώνει παρά τρίχα αλλά σοκάρεται όταν συνειδητοποιεί ότι έγινε αιτία να χάσει κάποιος τη ζωή του. Η Σιλβή του ρίχνει ηρεμιστικά στο νερό κι ο Θράσος ξυπνάει αργά το πρωί. Ο Λάζαρος και ο Ζαν Κλόντ αναλαμβάνουν να εξαφανίσουν το πτώμα κι έχουν μια παράξενη συνάντηση με την αστυνομία. Η Λένα ανήσυχη και καχύποπτη απ' την αργοπορία του Θράσου πηγαίνει στο μαγαζί και γίνεται έξαλλη όταν τον βλέπει αγκαλιά με τη Σιλβή. Και πάνω που ζητάει εξηγήσεις ο Θράσος καταρρέει. Ούτε η Αγγέλα μπορεί να τον συνεφέρει. Δεν έχει διάθεση για τίποτα. Κλείνεται στο σπίτι και αρνείται να πάει στο μαγαζί. Η Πένυ, γοητευμένη απ' την αυτοθυσία του Νικόλα, καταλήγει τελικά στην αγκαλιά του αγνοώντας το κόλπο που της έστησε. Ο Βασίλης βγαίνει ραντεβουδάκι με τη Τζία και κείνη προσπαθεί να τον ψαρέψει για τα διαμάντια. Η Λένα σίγουρη ότι η Σιλβή θα εκμεταλλευτεί την απουσία του Θράσου απ' το μαγαζί, αποφασίζει να πάει εκείνη στη θέση του. Οι δυο γυναίκες έρχονται αντιμέτωπες.
