Cynthia, Sam and their daughters find their chicken guests highly entertaining, while Dawn, John, Max and Sam look after two piglets - and as they learn more about pig intelligence they research more about the health implications of processed meat, forcing them to question their entire attitude to what they eat.

Episode 2
Dawn, John and the boys have fallen in love with pigs Reenie and Pauline, but a vegetarian barbecue goes disastrously wrong. Meanwhile, there are new arrivals for Pam, Lou, Jade and Jazmyn, who are responsible for rearing two lambs. Meat eating is an essential part of their lives, so it will be interesting to see whether a trip to a farm during lambing season will prompt Pam to challenge her long-held beliefs.

Episode 3
Can two long-term veggies persuade their family to spare the lives of two dairy calves? And do Pam and Lou really view their little lambs as lunch?
