Episode 2
While the parents are being quizzed, the guys and girls hoping to be chosen see and hear everything, and have no control over what their parents are revealing. However, if mum and dad go too far, they can make just one urgent phone call to speak to them.
Will these parental confessions help or hinder their kids' chances of finding love?
Once the picker has finished grilling the parents, they make their decision. Though before they come face-to-face with their date, they get to meet the ones they turned down. Will they have made the right decision as they head straight from the studio to the date hopefully hand in hand?

Episode 3
In their quest to find love, nothing is off limits, as the picker looking for romance gets to ask their potential suitors' parents anything. Mum and dad then get busy spilling the beans, on everything from their off-spring's relationship history and grooming habits, to questionable celebrity crushes and cringe-worthy childhood stories.

Love Island

Irish Blood
Irish Blood focuses on Fiona, whose path in life is earmarked by her father, Declan, who seemingly abandoned her and her mother on her tenth birthday. After years of channelling anger toward him, to the benefit of her litigious clients, a message from her father sends her to Ireland. There she learns key truths about her father as well as a family that doesn't know she exists, and, moreover, that the story of abandonment that has shaped her entire life - was a lie. A lie intended to protect her and her mother from her father's shady business dealings. Fiona resolves to uncover the full truth about her father and reconnect with the parent she only thought she knew.

The Repair Shop
The Repair Shop is a workshop of dreams, where broken or damaged cherished family heirlooms are brought back to life.
Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
