Mehmed appoints Süleyman Pasha to intercept the Pope's aid before it reaches the city. Meanwhile, there is great turmoil on the Byzantine side; Anna is thrown into the dungeon, while Nadia plots her revenge.

Çandarlı makes a radical decision and organizes a new plan to replace Kurtçu with Kalender. Ishak, suspicious of Ferhat, brings him to Mehmed's presence.

The Ottoman camp faces turmoil as the betrayal of Ferhat Pasha shakes the foundation of Sultan Mehmed's army. With morale low and the Byzantine resistance fierce, Sultan Mehmed must rally his forces to ensure the conquest of Constantinople. Mehmed, who was wounded during the attack, renews his belief in conquest after coming to terms with himself. Ferhat, found to be a spy, is captured and brought before Mehmed.
 

Sultan Mehmed's dream of conquering Constantinople faces a new challenge as a murder shakes his army, while the Byzantines introduce a new warrior, Don Francesco, to stop the advancing Ottoman forces.

While Murtaza and the other rebels who killed the raiders receive the punishment they deserve, the balance in the headquarters is shaken. Hızır Çelebi, who continues his investigation to find Baltaoğlu's killer, tries to put together the clues in the turbulent atmosphere of the headquarters.

Just as Mehmed is about to attack Constantinople with his army, the balance on both the Ottoman and Byzantine sides is suddenly upset. Çandarlı is given a mission that could end in death.

After a long preparation, the Ottoman army finally breaks through the walls, but deadly traps await them in the streets of the city.

Sultan Mehmed begins reshaping the government and religious institutions. But as he lays the foundations for a new Islamic empire, he must face assassination attempts, backdoor politics, and resistance from within his own council.

Mehmed announces that his conquests will continue in the west. A stranger's arrival in the city causes Fatima to embark on a new adventure.

Sultan Mehmed interrogates Plethon.  After hearing about his father Mehmed's heroism, little Prince Beyazıd runs away from the palace in search of adventure.  Having martyred Saltuk and Fatima, Agamemnon now targets Hızır Çelebi, the symbol of Ottoman justice.
