Mercato - Season 1

Season 1

Thomas Chevalier, an office cop with an exemplary career to date, happens to be at the airport at the time of the historic arrival of OM's new star recruit to France, when he is forced to intervene to neutralize a madman who is about to attack the footballer. Unwittingly, he injures the player, putting an end to the Marseille dream before it has even begun... The fiasco of his intervention leads to punishment: his immediate transfer to the worst possible destination for this Parisian cop with the worst record - Marseille... There, Thomas is put in charge of an unorthodox group, led by Nora Kader, an uncontrollable young cop who differs from him in every way. With her two deputies Julio Abdelaoui and Ange Colona, these free electrons have already worn down more than one group leader and earned the worst reputation. No one wants to stick around. But Thomas, sanctioned, has no choice. They don't wear the same jersey, but they do the same job: cops. And they're going to have to play for the same team, in Marseille.
