Greta takes charge of Fátima's wedding, but Fátima pushes her away to plan her own ceremony. Mario is tired of Bárbara's insistence on getting pregnant again, and Triana discovers that Adrián is being unfaithful to Fátima.

Fátima begins to doubt her engagement after discovering another lie from Adrián. Mario realizes that Bárbara wants to get pregnant to avoid thinking about her unhappiness, and Gonzalo decides to put a stop to Pablo's spending.

Gonzalo confronts Greta over Fátima's happiness, and she makes it clear who's in charge of the house thanks to her father's inheritance. Fátima realizes the mistake she made by calling off her engagement and apologizes to Adrián. Sebastián flies to Mexico and meets Fátima.

Fátima discusses her intimacy issues with Adrián and begins to have doubts about their wedding once again. Pablo feels forced to steal from his own mother, and Bárbara celebrates her plans to get pregnant ahead of time.

Gonzalo warns Pablo that he will not receive another penny from him unless he learns from his mistakes and gets back on track. Renata manages to reunite Sebastián with his son, and Adrián finds a new enemy in Sebastián.

Fátima definitively calls off her engagement to Adrián, and Verania regrets her infidelity when she realizes she has lost the opportunity that could have saved her modeling career.

Gonzalo uses his own marriage as an example to warn Fátima about the consequences of marrying without love. Adrián is determined to take the vice presidency away from Sebastián, and Pablo is expelled from university.

Gonzalo confronts Pablo for having been expelled and puts an end to all the luxuries at home to force him to work. Triana is already in love with Sebastián, while he enjoys his first date with Fátima.

Bárbara and Greta join forces to try to convince Fátima to resume her engagement to Adrián. Sebastián and Fátima kiss, and Verania decides to win Sebastián's love back.

Gonzalo suffers a heart attack when he discovers that Adrián is trying to blackmail Fátima in order to win her back. Bárbara grows impatient about getting pregnant, and Sebastián admits that he is in love with Fátima.

Because of Adrián's lies, Greta lashes out at Fátima for supposedly getting rid of the baby she was expecting. Fátima is blamed for Gonzalo's illness, and Pablo gets into trouble when he has to return the ring he stole.

Fátima realizes she has a suspicious delay and imagines the torment she would go through if she were pregnant with Adrián's child. Daniel and Bárbara refuse to keep spending time together, but they will be forced to do so for Maca's health.

Gonzalo asks Greta for a divorce, but she threatens to ruin his reputation in front of their children if he goes through with it. Verania arrives in Mexico, and Adrián intercepts her while Fátima shows Sebastián how she creates her sculptures.

Verania finds Sebastián's apartment and, when she sees him, she kisses him—only for Fátima to catch them. Bárbara receives terrible news that ruins her plans, and Greta declares war on her friend Maggi.

Sebastián explains the kiss with Verania to Fátima, and they decide to give love a chance. Bárbara comes to terms with the fact that she won't be able to be a mother again, and Pablo takes charge of the family business.

Sebastián confesses to Fátima that he is willing to change his plans if their love stands the test of time. Despite the pain, Bárbara refuses to give up on the idea of becoming a mother again, and Adrián blackmails Fátima.

Fátima and Sebastián take the first step toward their new life; Claudio proposes an alliance to Carolina to separate them. Federico confesses to Fátima his reasons for investing in Greta's factory, and Bárbara suffers a terrible accident.
