Micawber is a jovial and loveable optimist, a character lovingly created by Charles Dickens. This is the story of Wilkins Micawber, a proud family man, keen to keep up appearances in the face of adversity to support his loving wife and many children. Living on the breadline, Micawber is ever confident that something will turn up. In the meantime, he supplies an abundance of love and happiness to his family, protecting them from the pressures of the outside world in his own inimitable fashion. As the demands of his numerous creditors, including the ruthless Ezra Chesney escalate, Micawber begins a series of ill-fated careers. Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.

Beyond the Gates
Beyond the Gates is set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington D.C., and in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States. Here you'll find a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those that live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have "made it" and those who haven't are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.

The Paper
The Paper finds the same documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin Scranton searching for a new subject. They ultimately find it in an historic Toledo newspaper, The Truth Teller, and the eager publisher that's trying to revive it.
