Episode 1

In the first episode of the new series, we head across the Atlantic to meet the Campbells, a British family of five who are motorhoming for the first time as they travel across America. They're quite literally learning on the job! They're thrown in at the deep end when they have to deal with a blocked loo before taking their home on wheels to the Grand Canyon, where they're blown away by the views. We join young couple Chris and Sam from Plymouth, who've packed in their jobs and are ready to take to the open road. They're busy working on their self-converted van that they've spent the last 10 months turning from an ex-minibus into their new home from home. The last job before it's completed is to finish off the roof terrace so they can finally start their European adventure! We find out why TV presenter Matt Allwright loves his campervan as he gives us a tour and takes his friend Davy canoeing on the River Thames. With sales of motorhome accessories booming, our resident reviewer Tomi Adebayo returns to put three portable barbecues to the test to decide which he would splash his cash on. In America, we get an insight into the world of luxury RV life. Retired couple Pat and Jan are on a road trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in their $2.1-million motorhome! They take us to an exclusive million-dollar motorhome resort in North Carolina, where they own a parking lot, complete with outside dining area and firepit. It even has its own mobile cocktail cart delivering your favourite tipple right to your motorhome door! And we get an exclusive tour of a state-of-theart RV factory in Indiana to see just how their massive luxury million-pound motorhomes are made.
