A young queen reluctantly turns to black magic in order to save her own life when she learns she is barren.

A mysterious masked person is killing townsfolk who have been granted wishes by a 100-year-old tree. 

Seo Ri rescues a man from her past who immediately threatens to ruin her plans. 

Heo Joon returns to the city and tries to find the mysterious serial killer so he can clear his own name.

Seo Ri tries to cast off the man responsible for saving her. 

Poong Yeon is forced to make a choice between protecting his family and Yeon Hee, or serving the king, which will test where his true loyalties lie. 

Hong Joo has the pieces in place to finally make up for her mistake. 

Choi Hyeon Seo makes a last-ditch effort to protect Yeon Hee, despite the personal risk involved.

Yeon Hee must face Hong Joo, causing changes in the Royal Palace, involving great danger. Heo Joon is closer to uncover Sol Gae's secret.

Heo Joon desperately looks towards a new ally for help against Hong Joo.
