Miss Sophie - Same Procedure as Every Year - Season 1

Miss Sophie is in financial distress. Her solution: she invites five men to compete for her heart - Mr. Pommeroy, Sir Toby, Mr. Winterbottom, Admiral von Schneider, and Count Szabos. But her already tricky plan spins completely out of control when her childhood sweetheart, the butler's son James, suddenly reappears.

The butler's son James skips a duel to the death in order to support Miss Sophie in her "Bachelorette" venture. When the five suitors arrive, each reveals his very own temperament. Between etiquette, vanity, and subtle barbs, the tension rises. Meanwhile, Miss Sophie and James grow close again - but Sophie's plan stays on course.

Miss Sophie invites the gentlemen on a dream date to Ascot: horse races, strawberry punch, and high stakes. But in Ascot, Miss Sophie suffers yet another financial setback. James uncovers a dirty scheme and ultimately exposes one of the suitors as a fraud.

Admiral von Schneider arranges a one-on-one date for Miss Sophie - one that is anything but conventional. Between dubious "medicine" and disarming confessions, the gentlemen reveal their true colors. In the end, one of the suitors takes matters into his own hands and bows out of the race.

And then there were two suitors left. For another dream date, the group goes to France - to the "Village of Truth." The village lives up to its name: Miss Sophie and James confront their feelings, and one suitor makes a shocking confession.

After the trip to France, it seems the path is finally clear for one of the suitors. But he, too, has plenty of skeletons in his closet - and in the end, it's not just about the beginning of a great love, but about life and death itself.
