Katie keeps her affair with a patient secret. Lawyer Siobhan is tired of trying to become pregnant by her husband, and is instead interested in a work colleague.
Episode 2
A guilt-ridden Siobhan confides in Jessica. Trudi and Richard go on an uncomfortable date, whilst Katie grows closer to Sam. Jessica discovers feelings for lesbian bride Alex.
Episode 3
Jessica is jealous of Alex's show of love for Lisa at their wedding and ends up sleeping with a wedding guest. Meanwhile, Katie attempts to suppress her feelings for Sam by hooking up with a man in a bar, and Trudi panics about her body when Richard comes over for a romantic evening - and resorts to a body wrap that goes horrible wrong.
Episode 4
Despite Trudi's disapproval, Katie throws herself into an affair with Sam. Trudi labels Sally a fraudster after she claims to be Paul's mistress. Meanwhile, Richard attempts to charm Trudi into the bedroom, but their relationship takes a turn for the worse. Having accepted his infertility, Hari arranges to see a specialist, and Katie finally confesses to Sam about her relationship with his father.

Siobhan struggles with her secret, and convinces her boss to promote Dominic to another branch. Katie desperately tries to contact Sam, only for him to turn up in the middle of the night asking searching questions. Meanwhile, Trudi attempts to persuade Richard she doesn't want to break up, and contemplates giving Sally a share of her windfall.
Episode 6
Trudi's shocking discovery leaves her reeling. Siobhan faces a devastating dilemma - have an abortion, or lose Hari forever. Meanwhile, Jessica is torn between her feelings for Alex and what's right for them both, and Katie is called to a panel hearing about John's death.
