Mona creates havoc when she writes to the secretary of the Air Force demanding that Mike be given a raise in salary. 

Mona schemes to have Mike (Denny Miller) win some money so he can take her on a Mexican vacation.

To complete a picture on time, Mona (Juliet Prowse) breaks a pact she made with Mike (Denny Miller).

At the request of the State Department, a reluctant Mona agrees to dine with a visiting maharajah—who has a reputation as a playboy. 

Mike's officer candidate nomination requires relocation. Mona must choose between her film career and moving with him as a supportive spouse.

Mike's solo attendance at a party, and subsequent encounter with his attractive ex-girlfriend, creates domestic problems.

Mona and Mike encounter difficulties when they try to help a friend make up with his girl.

Mike is jealous of Mona's increased time with her Italian co-star, Mario.

To hide her $1,500 art purchase from Mike, Mona falsely claimed she created it.

Mona gets more than she bargained for when she invites an unemployed actor to dinner and he moves in to stay. Mona invites a down-and-out former film star, Trevor Blake (Patrick Knowles) for dinner, and gets more than she bargained for when he moves in to stay. Blake remains for weeks and Mona is unable to move him out because he has no money. Then Mona gets him a part in a picture so he can earn some cash and support himself. But when given an opportunity to perform again, Blake reacts in an unusual way.

Mona's aunts, Agatha and Margaret, visit, and Mike's eagerness to impress them backfires spectacularly.

Annoyed by Mona's habit of opening his mail, Mike tries to break her of it.

A magazine photographer ruthlessly seeks to capture Mona's home life.

To secretly honor Mona for entertaining the troops, General Crone deceives her into thinking she's being replaced, complicating Mike's task of getting her to the base.

When Mike refuses to allow Mona to buy a new color TV set, she allows him to obtain a coin worth $600—enough to buy the set. Only—Mike misplaces the coin. Mona dons an Air Force uniform in an effort to recover the rare coin, but is mistaken for a new recruit and forced to undergo basic training. 

Mike's hitch in the USAF is up. He refused to re-enlist because he wants to make more money to support Mona better. To do this he needs a civilian salary, but both Mona and General Crone don't want their favorite sergeant to give up the Air Force.

Sal Mineo guest stars as General Crone's beatnik nephew, a far cry from the clean-cut young man expected.

Mike slaps a pie in the face of a nightclub comic who insults Mona. Mike and Mona get involved in a pie-throwing contest when the nightclub comic says Mike married Mona for her money. 

Mike gives his wife Mona a diamond ring worth $350 for their third wedding anniversary. By mistake, a props-man picks it up at the studio sending everyone into tizzy.

Mike's buddy, Sgt. Gruzewsky, plans to wed but changes his mind the night before on the advice of a gypsy fortune teller. Mona, flabbergasted by the whole affair, soon sets things right.

Mona's life is complicated by a trained monkey who develops a fondness for her.

Mona rents a plane and parachutes into a bivouac area to deliver her favorite cold remedy to Mike.

A wealthy Texan convinces Mona to invest in his new electronics venture.

Mona panics when Mike unexpectedly enters her in a ski race at a winter resort.

Mona and Mike escalate their campaign to marry off Alice to Sgt. Gruzewsky.
