Hector's younger brother, Donald Ulysses MacDonald, the black sheep of the family, returns to a mixed reception after a 40 year absence.

Episode 3
Duncan proves to have hidden talents, while Donald and Molly reveal their secret history to a shocked family. Could their revelations hold a lesson for Paul and Lexie?

Episode 4
The discovery of a German WWII fighter plane at the bottom of Glenbogle loch brings long buried secrets to light. Isobel knows the pilot is her godfather.

Episode 5
Paul gives an old army pal a job on the estate, Golly finds romance and Donald plans a wild stag party.

Episode 6
An unkempt stranger claiming amnesia arrives in Glenbogle and affects the house in many mysterious ways. Isobel's farm is under threat and she's tempted by an offer to go into business with old boss Kelly.

Episode 7
Molly is away in New Zealand, while Golly and Meg are on holiday at Ullapool. Jess finds poachers on the estate, so Paul insists on bringing in local ghillie Stuart to help, but it turns out Stuart is one of the poachers.Paul and Isobel's relationship is still beset with misunderstandings and at Lucy's drinks party Paul & Lucy hit it off well. Estate owner Chester arrives and Isobel flirts with him.While on holiday, Jess is offered a job but decidesagainst it so that she can stay at Glenbogle with Golly.Isobel accepts Paul's offer to go into the chutney business.

Episode 8
Donald is delighted when he bumps into old flame Moira McIver. They were supposed to elope together, but he stood her up. It seems that romance may be rekindled and they plan to elope again. He needs a bank loan, but needs Paul's signature as guarantor, so he decides to forge it. But when he turns up at Moira's farm, it is derelict. She has stood him up as revenge.Paul finds out about the loan, intercepts Moira before she leaves, and they find Donald. In the end, they part as friends, all scores settled.Meanwhile, Chester tries to woo Isobel with business propositions. Paul offers her a choice: either a small scale project with her, or Chester's more ambitious plans. It comes down to the clay pigeon shoot. Golly, representing Paul, defeats Chester's Olympic champion friend and Isobel chooses to work with Paul.

Episode 9
Lucy frets about her overbearing parents' impending visit to Glenbogle and how they'll react to Paul. Ewan finds his father with another woman.

Episode 10
Molly's return from New Zealand is overshadowed by a clan elder's revelation throwing doubt on Paul's claim to Glenbogle.
