Carolina pretends to be Sister Celeste to avoid being arrested; she arrives in Monteverde, where she meets Oscar, a man who openly shows his resentment toward women; however, he manages to save her son's life.

Oscar is surprised to see a photograph of Sister Celeste with a man, so he does not hesitate to question her; Moisés is left incredulous upon hearing how lovingly the superior speaks to Andrés.

Franco asks Oscar to get over his mother's abandonment, because if he keeps carrying that pain, he will never be able to be happy, and he begs him to allow Lucía to be the one who tames "Duquesa."

Rosalía is convinced that her father could be Oscar or Néstor, so with Lucía's help she enters Oscar's ranch to look for something that could help her carry out a DNA test.

Celeste decides to remove her veil while calmly gazing at the village river, but she is surprised by Oscar, who, upon seeing her, realizes that she is a very beautiful woman.

Celeste informs Carolina that a lawyer's help will be very expensive to prove her innocence, so she suggests selling her parents' house; however, Oscar overhears that she needs a lawyer's help and questions her.

Father Gabriel gives Oscar a letter from Eva; surprised, he decides to burn it. Franco discovers that his father got rid of his mother's letter.

Oscar manages to speak honestly to Franco and reveals that the resentment he feels toward Eva is not only because of her abandonment, but because she left them for another man.

Sister Celesta is determined to prevent Mother Gustava from traveling to Monteverde and discovering the secret she shares with Carolina; she fears going to prison before she can prove that she is innocent.

Moisés is indiscreet with Andrés and reveals that his godfather Oscar has fallen in love with Sister Celeste, since he cannot hide what he feels for her when she is by his side.

Faced with the unexpected arrival of Mother Gustava in Monteverde, Carolina is forced to reveal in the secrecy of confession to Father Gabriel that she had to usurp her sister Celeste's identity to avoid going to prison for a crime she did not commit.

Celeste confesses to Oscar that he is a charming man, despite appearing to be a bad-tempered person; Andrés makes peace with Oscar and assures him that if Sister Celeste were not religious, she would never notice him.

While Carolina prepares to return to Monteverde, Mother Celeste warns her to keep her distance from Oscar León, as he could discover her double identity.

Eva is clear with Néstor and assures him that what happened between the two of them was only passion; he believes their love meant nothing.

Eva tells Mother Celeste that when she reunited with Oscar, she realized he is still the man she fell in love with, since she couldn't help feeling fascinated by him, and she wonders whether that deep love they once shared could be rekindled.

Franco assures Julieta that he wants to be a present father for his son, but that decision does not mean he has to distance himself from Lucía; she confirms that she will never be able to have a family and that the best thing is to return to Peru.

Franco confesses to Oscar that Néstor was the man Eva chose over them on the day she decided to abandon them.

Oscar cannot believe that Néstor and Eva made a mockery of him, but above all of Franco, who waited for years for his mother's return.

Carlos, feeling comfortable with Oscar, confesses that he came to Monteverde in search of his son Andrés, since some time ago his mother pushed him out of his life.

Eva confirms to Franco that she is going to move into Néstor's house, and that they are also determined to give their relationship another chance. He is ashamed of the decision his mother made and calls them "cynical."

Carolina confesses to Juanita that Oscar finished school, so the time has come to tell him the whole truth.

Sister Celeste recognizes the detective from a photograph and demands that Carolina leave Monteverde, since Carlos has found her.

Carolina asks Andrés to be very careful about what he says in front of the detective. The boy accidentally calls her "mom," and Padilla confirms that the woman beneath the habit is Carolina Robles.

Oscar discovers that Hugo is responsible for the vandalism of the Monteverde school, so he confronts him at Don Manuel's restaurant.

Oscar is convinced that the love Sister Celeste feels for her vocation is much stronger than what she feels for him, so he decides to end things with her.

Celeste informs Carolina that there is already a buyer for the house; however, the notary notified her that it cannot be sold due to the arrest warrant against her for fraud, so she will not be able to pay Padilla the agreed amount.

Carolina realizes that Padilla spoke with Carlos with the intention of betraying her; in his attempt to protect himself, he assures her that he did it to avoid raising suspicion.

Lucas surprises Rosalía by announcing that he did have a relationship with Julieta when he arrived in Monteverde.

Lucas confesses to Franco that the child Julieta is expecting could be his, since he also slept with the Peruvian woman.

Franco surprises Julieta by announcing that he found a laboratory where they can have a DNA test done. She refuses to undergo any test to prove that the child she is carrying is Franco's and threatens to return to Peru as soon as the doctor authorizes it.

Sister Celeste surprises Oscar by announcing that she has no intention of abandoning her religious habit and, although she desires him, she cannot be with him. Oscar interprets that decision as being motivated by Carlos's arrival in town.

Carlos accuses Carolina of kissing Oscar and suspects that she gave him reasons for his reaction; Carolina gets angry and denies having anything with León.

After undergoing a DNA test, Oscar receives the results, which confirm that the analyzed samples show a 99.9% probability that Lucas is his son.

Oscar meets with Franco to confess that Lucas is also his son, the result of a brief relationship he had with Gina, an Italian woman who came to Monteverde. Upon hearing the news, Franco does not hesitate to reject him.

Oscar invites Lucas to dinner at his house to begin living together as a family; however, Franco opposes a reconciliation. Oscar tries to convince his son to accept that he has a new brother.

Sister Celeste confesses to Rosalía that her real name is Carolina Robles, that she is Andrés's mother and Carlos's wife. She explains that she took the identity of her twin sister, who truly is religious, because she is involved in a multimillion-dollar fraud and the police are looking for her.

Oscar confronts Carolina and reproaches her for hiding who she really is. Coldly, he tells her that, beyond what he feels, there is no longer a place for her in his life.

Oscar, blinded by his decision, is willing to harm the entire community of Monteverde in order to prevent the school from opening. Not even Father Gabriel's pleas manage to make him reconsider.

Carolina confesses to her lawyer that she has decided to turn herself in to the authorities to prove her innocence. However, the attorney stops her and warns that before taking that step they must prepare a strategy that will allow them to defend her and clear her name.

Oscar finally decides to read Carolina's letter. In its lines, he discovers the deep remorse of the woman who broke his heart, but who also confesses that in him she found true love. Even so, she acknowledges that with her lie she lost everything.

Padilla claims to have the information that proves Carolina's innocence and reveals that Carlos is the real culprit. However, his help comes at a price, and to obtain the evidence, she must pay a considerable sum.

Celeste receives the shocking news that Carolina and Andrés have left the convent. Worried, she decides to contact her sister, and during the call she is surprised to discover that both of them are heading to Zacatillo.

Erika arrives in Monteverde with a single purpose: to recover the son who was taken from her arms nine years ago. With a shattered heart but full of determination, she goes to Father Gabriel to ask for help. The priest, stunned by the truth, does not hesitate to look for Oscar and confess the unthinkable: Moisés's mother has returned and is willing to do anything for her son.

Carolina turns herself in to the authorities hoping to face her legal process at home. But an unexpected court ruling sends her to prison for aggravated fraud.

Upon learning that Carolina is in jail, Oscar approaches Sister Celeste to offer his financial support throughout the entire process.

Oscar meets Erika and confirms that Moisés is a healthy child, loved by the family. With a firm, confident voice, he tells her that he registered him as his son when no family member came forward to claim him.

Carolina can't hide her excitement at knowing she might soon regain her freedom; however, her lawyer informs her that the judge has, for the moment, rejected the evidence proving her innocence, since it must be presented only once the entire investigation against her is concluded.

During a meeting at the inn, Sara uncovers the truth about Carlos's wrongdoing against Carolina and does not hesitate to confront him. Firmly, she reveals that the lawyer has already discovered the overseas bank account where he hid the fraud money, leaving him on the verge of being exposed.

Carolina goes through her worst moment upon discovering that the cyber investigator disappeared with the evidence that would prove her innocence. Desperate and on the verge of collapse, she begs Sister Celeste to free her from confinement, while the latter tries to comfort her.

Raquel threatens to kill Álvaro if he decides to betray her. Claudio confronts his son and threatens to disinherit him because Montserrat decides to leave Puebla. Raquel steals Salud's money to pay Garduño, and Claudio changes his will.

Carolina and Oscar fulfill their dream of pledging eternal love to one another, sealing a story marked by faith and destiny. Before beginning their new life together, they visit Father Gabriel's grave to thank him for everything he did for them. With a heart full of gratitude, Oscar says that Monteverde turned out just as he dreamed it would… a place where love truly moves the world.
