Episodes

Brennen soll sie
A blazing pyre on the shores of Lake Constance: Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julia Spranger has been brutally murdered. Doro Beitinger and Chiara Locatelli investigate their first case together. The murder investigation leads the detectives to the deceased's husband, Udo Spranger. The couple is going through a divorce, and he is about to move out of their shared villa. The surgeon also seemed to have been experiencing difficulties at her clinic. Suspicious graffiti at the clinic entrance worries Gülay Aksoy, the deputy clinic director, who is already shaken by her boss's violent death and appears to be desperately trying to protect the clinic's reputation.

Kurzes Glück
A barrel is discovered at the bottom of Lake Constance, containing the body of Charly Lobinger. He vanished without a trace years ago after winning the lottery. Doro Beitinger and Chiara Locatelli investigate. Charly Lobinger's girlfriend, Mona Reichel, had reported him missing at the time. She runs a distillery with her sister, Linda, and lives with her in Charly's villa. The detectives learn that Charly left Mona more than just his villa. At the time of his disappearance, Mona was pregnant; her son, Leo, is now a year and a half old.

Die große Gier
A female civil servant was found murdered on the lakeshore, an engineer in her apartment. Doro Beitinger and Chiara Locatelli are investigating whether the two murders are connected. Their inquiries among the civil servant's colleagues reveal that Petra Schiller was living far beyond her means. Geraldine Herrenberg, on the other hand, had recently been working on a sensitive project and apparently felt she was being persecuted. Both women frequented the same yoga studio. Doro and Chiara must determine whether yoga instructor Till Gröschner is involved in the violent deaths.

Wein und Wahrheit
At a winery, the head buyer of a discount supermarket chain is found dead in the fermentation cellar. Doro Beitinger and Chiara Locatelli quickly realize that the winemaking family is hiding something. The detectives discover that the discount supermarket chain, where Urs Stalder worked, is interested in the Mockwitz family's quality wines. It's strange, however, that the winemakers claim not to know Stalder. Meanwhile, evidence points to a homicide. When customs receives an anonymous tip that seriously implicates the Mockwitz winery, the investigation truly begins to unravel.
