Morimoto's Sushi Master - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Raw Talent
Our eight competing chefs meet the judges: Dakota Weiss, J. Kenji-Alt, and legendary head judge, Chef Morimoto. They'll need to prove their mastery of fundamental sushi skills in the first challenge, because one chef will be eliminated.

Into the Fire
Chef Morimoto turns up the heat with a spicy sushi challenge! The seven remaining chefs create decadent sushi rolls, then add heat to a Japanese style dish. But as the dishes get hotter, so does the competition, and one more chef goes home.

Sushi A-Go-Go
The six remaining chefs compete in a three-round ‘conveyor belt sushi tournament'. In the end, two chefs will battle it out to see who keeps their place in the competition.

Sushi for All
Chef Morimoto challenges the five remaining chefs to make their own versions of on-the-go Japanese street food, and to "think like Morimoto," while using Japanese flavors and sushi techniques to reinvent American classics. Only four chefs remain.

The Semi-Finals
The final four chefs must prove their storytelling skills in the kitchen, creating a dessert featuring candy flavors reminiscent of their childhoods, and a 3-tiered seafood tower that tells their own chef's story. Guest judge Shota Nakajima joins.

The Final Omakase
The 3 remaining chefs remake a failed dish from earlier in competition as they battle it out for the title of Sushi Master and $25K. One chef is eliminated, leaving two chefs to serve the final Omakase to the judges—but only one will be Sushi Master.

These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have "made it" and those who haven't are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.

Family Guy
Family Guy follows Peter Griffin the endearingly ignorant dad, and his hilariously offbeat family of middle-class New Englanders in Quahog, RI. Lois is Peter's wife, a stay-at-home mom with no patience for her family's antics. Then there are their kids: 18-year-old Meg is an outcast at school and the Griffin family punching bag; 13-year-old Chris is a socially awkward teen who doesn't have a clue about the opposite sex; and one-year-old Stewie is a diabolically clever baby whose burgeoning sexuality is very much a work in progress. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian the family dog and a ladies' man who is one step away from AA.
