11.1 Свобода умереть
Спецслужбы выследили и захватили за границей опасного преступника Рудина из группы «Птицы войны». Рудин – ценный источник информации и его решено переправить в Россию на сухогрузе. Задача «Нерп» — встретить судно в море и доставить преступника на базу в Калининграде.
«Нерпам» становится известно о прошлом «Птиц войны»: в конце 90-х было создано подразделение из наиболее подготовленных сотрудников — бывших офицеров спецназа. Когда было принято решение его расформировать, среди резидентов оказался предатель, фактически превративший элитное формирование в свою карманную армию. Теперь «Птицы» — террористы и диверсанты, и только «Нерпам» под силу их остановить.
