Bodies of young men are turning up on the southern California freeways. When given a tip off police arrest 33 year-old sex offender William Bonin. He's caught in the act, as he rapes a 15 year old boy in the back of his van - the ‘Death Wagon'.

In Long Island, New York, police pull over a truck with a dodgy license plate. As they give the vehicle the once-over they find a rotting corpse of a young woman. What the driver, Joel Rifkin, then reveals in custody, stuns his interrogators.

The bodies of 2 young women are found in the countryside around Ipswich, England. 3 more follow just days later. A man is in custody, but to put the Suffolk Strangler behind bars, the full force of forensic science will be needed.
