Season 1

Episodes

Ford Cortina and Peugeot 306 GTi
In an emotional journey, the team races to bring an ex-rally Ford Cortina Mk1 back after 20 years off the road, so the family can sell it to raise funds for the medical care of its former driver. And a Peugeot 306 GTi hot hatch has its driver appeal restored.

Dodge Charger and VW Baja Bug
A Dodge Charger, used to raise money on charity drives, gets a complete interior transformation and engine work to help it roar back onto the road. The team also gives a globetrotting VW Baja desert racer a new lease on off-road life.

Jaguar Saloon and Mini
A social media star Mini has lost its shine. The adjustable suspension gives a terrible ride, the front sport seat has collapsed and the engine is misfiring in a big way. The whole team focuses on the repairs, but they also have their hands full with a vintage Jaguar which can't steer or brake.

VW Beach Buggy and Ford Escort Estate
A VW buggy is off the road with shaky steering and a gearbox that's too stiff to select a gear. Can the team get it beach ready for summer? The workshop also grapples with a Fast Ford that suffered a bad rear-end shunt and needs bodywork and a respray.

BMW 325i Convertible and Triumph Herald
Can a Triumph Herald with terrible bodywork be saved from the crusher by cutting out the rust, welding in good metal, and giving it a full respray? A BMW convertible has been off the road for years and the team go all-out to get it ready again for top-down fun.

Bentley and Leyland Princess
The Bentley tourer is a British icon, with a distinctive stripped-back design and a powerful engine. But good looks and performance are no use if the brakes fail and the electrics are faulty. A Leyland Princess completes the car royalty in the workshop, and needs a full engine conversion to run unleaded fuel.

Ford Popular and Toyota Corona
A rare '55 Ford Popular arrives, and the team tackle the dodgy brakes, before sprucing up the interior and exterior to give this classic a 21st-century makeover. A custom Toyota Corona lowrider imported from Japan offers a big bodywork and cabin challenge.

Model A Hot Rod and Jaguar XK150
A glamorous Jaguar XK150 sports car, owned by the same driver for 50 years, is way down on power. The team diagnoses an unexpected and dangerous fault. A hot rod which has been grounded for months gets a chance to cruise once again.

Morris Minor and Ford Thunderbird
A 1950s Ford Thunderbird has lost its spark and needs a total electrical upgrade to make it safe and reliable for the 21st century. It's joined by a Morris Minor which is only running on half power, drops oil everywhere and shows signs of severe engine wear.

Triumph Spitfire and Rover P5
You can't beat a Triumph Spitfire for top-down fun, but this project car -- bought as a box of bits -- will be a massive mission to get back on the road. A family-heirloom Rover P5 also needs serious attention from the workshop crew.
