In the premiere episode Marty guides daughter Noah through her first bush plane landing at a remote caribou camp; Mike hauls a 50-foot gangway across land and sea to his Kodiak homestead; Bret and Ivy fend off a hungry brown bear raiding their salmon nets; Lauro and Neil use an age old technique to hunt moose by boat on an isolated river; Chance and Soraya insulate their log cabin with sod and moss from the surrounding forest.

Family Tradition
Marty flies to new hunting grounds in search of an elusive caribou herd and Lauro and Neil build a trapping and fishing camp to help feed their sled dogs.

Bloodline
Chance and Soraya slaughter a ram to provide meat for their growing family and Lauro begins preparation for this year's Iditarod by taking his team on a fall training run.

Icebreaker
Bret and Ivy bust through sheets of lake ice to ferry critical equipment to their cabin by boat and Lauro and Virginia use the dog team to haul fresh cut timber from the forest for a log cabin build.

No Way Down
Lauro guides his dog team through frozen wilderness to reach Neil at a remote trapping camp.

Double Impact
While hunting for meat, Mike crosses paths with a prowling brown bear and her cub.

The Thundering Herd
Mike journeys to an uninhabited island to hunt a herd of wild buffalo with help from the local natives; Lauro pushes himself training for the upcoming Iditarod with a grueling 260-mile run through the Alaskan wilderness.

Freefall
Lauro begins the longest Iditarod in the history of the famous sled dog race; Mike hunts elusive and rare silver foxes along the shoreline of Kodiak Island.

Into the Unknown
Marty rebuilds a snowmobile from scratch, before facing off with a wolverine menace on his trapline; Lauro feels the fatigue on the Iditarod trail and makes a costly wrong turn in the dark.

Triumph and Tragedy
Lauro barrels to the finish line of the Iditarod along the frozen Bering Sea coast; Mike fights to salvage his Kodiak Island homestead after a catastrophic bear invasion.

Backcountry Call
Lauro embarks on a new solo adventure with his dog team across the unforgiving Arctic wilderness; Bret and Ivy run into trouble when their traps vanish under several feet of solid ice.

Changing of the Guard
Tom goes for one final ride on the trapline to pull his last sets before passing the torch to Sean and Hank; Jake has a showdown for the ages when three lions are cornered in a single tree.
