Sarah and Frank Gladwyn endeavour to sell their house after the children have left home. Sarah longs to move into a flat and begin a new career but a buyer has not yet been found...

Episode 2
The Gladwyns still have not found a buyer. The last thing they need is Sarah's sister Liz coming to stay. Sarah realises she cares passionately who they sell the house to.

Episode 3
Sarah thinks they have sold their house, but the deal falls through. They also lose the new flat and Sarah may lose her job, but they've still got Liz !

Episode 4
In this episode, the Gladwyns have taken the house off the market. Frank leaves, but the builders have arrived to fix the cracks. It is a perfect moment for Jane to drop out of college...

Episode 5
Sarah despairs over not being able to sort out her daughter, her husband nor her sister, Liz.

Episode 6
The Gladwyn's house is now ready to go back on the market, so the problem of trying to sell it begins all over again.
