Mr. Mercedes - Season 1

Retired police detective Bill Hodges faces a case he never solved when the killer begins a campaign of harassment against him.

Bill almost shoots a neighbor boy, and Pete and Ida both advise him to get his health checked. Meanwhile, Brady gets revenge on his tyrannical boss, and Janey Patterson agrees to have Bill investigate the suicide of her sister Olivia.

Bill tries to throw Mr. Mercedes off by claiming that the police have captured the "real" Mercedes killer. Meanwhile, Lawrence discovers what his son Jerome is doing for Bill, and Pete expresses his concerns to his ex-partner.

Brady stalks a man who insulted Lou, and goes with Deborah to attend the grave of his father and brother. Meanwhile, Bill and Janey draw closer.

Bill take a statement from Elizabeth during one of her good days, and she recognizes him from the 2009 investigation. Meanwhile, Brady gets an exciting new job opportunity.

Janey's mother ends up in the hospital, and Bill meets Janey's niece Holly. Meanwhile, Brady begins to feel the pressure during his interview with the corporate men, after Deb decides to clean up her life and goes for a drive.

Deb snoops in Brady's room and finds several objects that raise questions. Meanwhile, Bill introduces Holly to Jerome, and helps Janey with the eulogy for her mother.

Bill deals with the aftermath of Janey's death. Meanwhile, Holly and Jerome find a vital clue to how Mr. Mercedes drove Olivia to murder, and Deb makes a fatal mistake that threatens Brady's plans.

The net tightens on Brady as Bill traces him to the electronics store. Meanwhile, Holly and Jerome think that they've determined what Brady's next target will be.

Bill and the police soon realize that Brady isn't dead, and try to figure out what his next target is.
