Murder in Mind is a groundbreaking new series that examines the psychological themes that drive people to kill.

Murder can never be justified. This is a journey of explanation, not excuse.

Following one case, as a single narrative in each episode, investigators, friends, and family of the perpetrator unpick what happened in the murderer's life and how a combination of adverse experiences might have escalated into bad decision making, resulting in a violent and fatal conclusion.  

Murder in Mind picks up on the appetite for popular psychology and seeks to understand why most of us are sheltered from the triggers that drive some beyond restraint.
