The suspect, Rebecca Foster, is of unsound mind and has at least one violent incident in her past, leading to her arrest and committal to the Toronto East Asylum for the Criminally Insane. And the metal fragment - lodged in a cricket bat with Miss Foster's bloody fingermarks all over it - seems to be a high-grade alloy of Molybdenum, Chromium, and Nickel... a type unknown to current methods of fabrication. The mystery deepens...
