My Floating Home (2016-2018)
My Floating Home follows the adventures of people who are building the ultimate dream homes – stunning ‘aquatic homes' that float on water. Traditional waterfront properties are hard to come by and can be very expensive. Some families are now taking the ultimate plunge and commissioning a floating home instead. Moored in marinas or along riverbanks, floating homes boast large glass windows offering stunning water views. From Vancouver to Seattle, and across Europe – it's a new trend with sales of waterborne homes booming. Each episode of "My Floating Home" follows a new family or friends as they attempt to take their dream from initial concept to final mooring. Viewers will see the tricks of the trade for designing and building a dream floating home and learn how to live a new lifestyle as float home pioneers.
