Rick is a mentally gifted, but sociopathic and alcoholic scientist and a grandfather to Morty; an awkward, impressionable, and somewhat spineless teenage boy. Rick moves into the family home of Morty, where he immediately becomes a bad influence.

Carmy, a young fine-dining chef, comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop. As he fights to transform the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.

Set after the events of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri Williams - a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world - returns to her hometown of Chicago.
