Top Star Im Se-ra
Im Se-ra is a superstar at the peak of her fame. Go Hee-young, an actress envious of Se-ra's success, harbours a deep hatred toward her. Beneath her popularity, Se-ra endures a pain no one sees. During a call from Dokgo Cheol, a rookie detective, she finds comfort in him. After a car accident leaves Se-ra in a coma, she wakes up in a world that has moved on without her.

A Fallen Star
When Chung-ja wakes from her coma, she finds herself in a 50-year-old body. Yet, in her mind, she is still the top star, Se-ra. The world, however, has moved on 25 years. Kang Du-won, her former manager, is now the CEO of 2ONE Entertainment, and Go Hee-young has become a famous star. While in the hospital, Chung-ja encounters Dokgo Cheol, and the two immediately misunderstand each other.

Reclaiming the Spotlight
When a wallet goes missing at Jumbo Gosiwon, suspicion quickly falls on Chung-ja. Bong Chung-ja and Dokgo Cheol grow closer while searching for the person secretly trailing her. Chung-ja visits her niece to fill in the missing pieces of what happened between her and her sister, Baek-ja. After watching Go Hee-young at her stardom, Chung-ja becomes determined to reclaim her place.

A Grand Comeback
Chung-ja decides to make her comeback in the entertainment world under her real name, Bong Chung-ja. Dokgo Cheol realises that she is indeed Im Se-ra and secretly supports her dreams. She visits her old friend, Tae-sook, who is now the successful director of Minnat Salon. Tae-sook helps Chung-ja get a role with the help of her husband who is also an actor.

Pieces of Memory
Chung-ja is on the verge of losing her role in the drama, so she visits the writer to try to get it back. Meanwhile, Dokgo Cheol continues his investigation into Ju Seung-pil's whereabouts and the truth behind Bong Chung-ja's car accident. When a fragment of her memory returns, Chung-ja is left confused and confronts Tae-sook about what happened on the day of the accident.

Danger Lurks
Chung-ja storms into 2ONE Entertainment to get answers from Kang Du-won, but she quickly realises he's lying to her. Her return unsettles Du-won, Hee-young, and Sun-young. Chung-ja and Dokgo Cheol begin to think that the car accident might not be an accident after all. When a mysterious man shows up at Jumbo Gosiwon, Chung-ja finds herself in danger once again.

Hidden Evidence
Chung-ja decides to stop hiding and fight back against the people who once tried to kill her, with Dokgo Cheol now acting as her manager. Meanwhile, crucial evidence comes to light. At 2ONE Entertainment, Kang Du-won pushes for her comeback as Im Se-ra. Chung-ja films a commercial with Go Hee-young, but things do not go as planned.

The Audition
Reporters swarm to expose that Bong Chung-ja is actually Im Se-ra. Chung-ja is invited to an audition, and she prepares to make an official comeback with Dokgo Cheol's help. Meanwhile, Hee-young grows increasingly wary of Chung-ja, and the situation becomes complicated with Ju Seung-pil as he is determined to take care of Se-ra.

Jealousy and Rivalry
Bong Chung-ja steps back into the spotlight, stunning everyone with a transformation. Her rival Go Hee-young's pride shatters in front of flashing cameras, igniting a dangerous jealousy. As whispers of a buried scandal from 25 years ago resurface, secrets threaten to explode. Just as Chung-ja and Dokgo Cheol's bond deepens, unseen enemies begin to close in.

Upon finding out that the passcode to Cheol's home is 0728, Se-ra starts to connect the dots regarding his real identity. Meanwhile, a scandal between Won-ban and Se-ra breaks, and Se-ra tries again to talk with Riley, the trainee at 2ONE Entertainment, whom she believes is going through a situation like hers. Soon after, Se-ra finds out through Riley that Da-hee is in danger.

Memories of Yu-ran
Se-ra goes into surgery after being injured during her attempt to save Da-hee. While she is unconscious, she recalls fragments of her memory and remembers Yu-ran. After she wakes up, she also remembers the identity of her manager. Meanwhile, Cheol tries to uncover the secrets at 2ONE Entertainment.

Into the Spotlight
As Dokgo Cheol tracks down the person who sent the USB to Im Se-ra, the two work together to expose the truth behind the accident. Meanwhile, Se-ra confronts Hee-young, leading to her public downfall. Determined to protect Da-hee from the pain she once endured, Se-ra talks to Baek-ja for support. Se-ra steps back into the spotlight at the Geumsang Film Festival, ready to begin a new chapter in her life.
