В конце октября суд в Москве оштрафовал журнал на 22 млн рублей за несвоевременное предоставление в Роскомнадзор документов о зарубежном финансировании. The New Times запустила краудфандинговую кампанию, и к моменту выхода интервью в эфире RTVI добровольцы уже собрали всю необходимую сумму для оплаты штрафа.
