The Olympics of Survival
Fighting for their countries and a $200,000 prize, competitors from Australia, Brazil, Mexico and the USA must take on a 24-hour insertion challenge. Surrounded by Africa's apex predators, each team is immediately tasked with making primitive fire.
Fire and Pain
An injury during an intense gauntlet competition puts a legend at risk. International survivalists must bring unique skills to torch, bridge and deadfall trap builds. Competitors scramble to stay safe as rhinos circle their camps at night.
Enter the Kill Zone
When prime hunting grounds are unlocked, several teams take down warthogs. In a multi-stage challenge, competitors pick seeds out of rhino dung and build complex traps. Texas surges ahead, and Jeff calls out Ky. A legend is sent to the first elimination.
Bow Up or Bow Out
The first elimination tests survivalists' ability to make fire in damp conditions and puts a legend on the chopping block. A primitive bow challenge pushes bushcraft skills and partnerships to their breaking point. Two teams get big-game kills.
Cracking Under the Pressure
In a two-part challenge, survivalists must choose who will use the primitive bow and who will process each kill. Strong winds wreak havoc, and the competition is rocked when an underdog team dominates. Another legend is sent to elimination.
A Raft of Trouble
Competitors move to a new survival zone patrolled by territorial hippos, upending the challenge. Teams must design and build a traditional raffia palm raft. An underdog shocks the competition while a crucial mistake puts a legend at risk of elimination.
Lock In or Storm Out
A primitive weapons challenge where survivalists build and use atlatls leads to a shocking elimination matchup. Multiple teams score huge protein wins, but Mexico's food struggles may lead medics to intervene. A raging storm causes a shelter to collapse.
Sharp Spears, Broken Spirits
The final four teams build four-pronged, fire-hardened spears to skewer fish. One team's spear -- and partnership -- breaks under pressure. Cold, driving rain collapses a shelter. In a frigid elimination challenge, teams battle hypothermia and each other.
Smoking the Competition
The final three teams migrate to the shores of the Indian Ocean. Two teams score crab, stingray and octopus, but the third struggles to get food. During a smoke-and-snare challenge, unexpected stumbles lead to a shocking elimination challenge.
On Top of the World
With national pride on the line, the last two teams square off in a multi-stage gauntlet testing their ability to build traps, shoot targets, bushcraft weapons and make fire. In a neck-and-neck battle, they fight to raise their flag and win $200,000.
