Naomi - Season 1

Naomi McDuffie is living her best life as a top student, skateboarder and Superman-stan, when a "stunt" in the middle of her hometown of Port Oswego turns her world upside down. While Naomi's doting parents - Greg and Jennifer McDuffie - are concerned with their daughter's strange new fainting spells, the teen's closest friends - Annabelle, Nathan, Lourdes, Anthony, and Jacob - join Naomi to help uncover who or what is behind the unexpected event that has the small military town buzzing. A bit of sleuthing leads Naomi and her friends to discover that the owners of two local businesses - Dee and Zumbado - seem to know a lot more about the incident than everyone else. Soon Naomi realizes that the mysterious event is just the beginning of a thrilling journey that will change her life and challenge her to question everything she knew to be true.

Following a shocking revelation by Dee, Naomi enlists her friends to dig deeper into the mystery surrounding unexplained occurrences in Port Oswego and whether they have anything to do with her past. Meanwhile, Naomi's parents are caught off guard by Naomi's interrogations. Another ominous encounter with Zumbado leaves Naomi shaken, and she seeks Dee's help in taking the next step to embracing her destiny.

Naomi gets guidance from Dee as she learns to harness her powers, all while juggling her everyday life as a teenager finishing her college application. And as Naomi's obsession with uncovering answers has her and her friends engaging in dangerous behavior, Zumbado seeks out the help of an old friend to help further his plans.

Naomi discovers more about her past, but she must come to terms with all the secrets that have been kept from her... and who has been keeping them. And as the newly empowered teen continues her training with Dee and finds the courage to confront Zumbado, she must balance her super-life with her school life when Annabelle, Anthony and Jacob push Naomi to campaign for Class President.

With Naomi still shaken by her terrifying encounter with the bounty hunter, Dee continues training her on controlling her thoughts and emotions and, therefore, her powers. Meanwhile, as Naomi and Nathan rekindle their romance, the class sets off on an exciting week-long camping excursion.

It's Homecoming in Port Oswego and Naomi and her fellow students are buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the town's longstanding event, but the tension between Nathan and Anthony escalates when Anthony feels his hometown tradition is being disrespected by a military kid. Meanwhile, Naomi discovers a potential new source of information, but they may know more than she bargained for. A revelation from his encounter with the bounty hunter sends Dee looking for answers about someone from his past, while Zumbado has a run in with Greg and Jennifer.

When Naomi finds herself in dire circumstances, she's forced to seek help from Zumbado who knows more than Naomi could have imagined.

Naomi must take special care to protect her identity after Jacob shares obscure information with her and Annabelle. Greg and Jennifer celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary while also giving serious consideration to their future and how best to protect Naomi. Meanwhile, Dee and Zumbado disagree on how Naomi should be trained for a larger, very imminent threat. Nathan and Anthony choose the comic bookstore for their class volunteer project, but Lourdes finds their presence to be more of an intrusion into her private life.

New information leads Naomi to believe there is another alien in her midst... and it may be someone she knows. A visit from Commander Steel prompts Dee and Zumbado to make an unexpected visit to the McDuffy home in the middle of the anniversary party... but at least they arrive in style.

In the aftermath of Naomi discovering who Greg and Jen really are - and that they've been lying about it her entire life - Naomi sets out on her own to dig deeper for the truth only to discover how many people have been keeping secrets from her.

 

Naomi and Annabelle are looking forward to a perfect prom night with Nathan, Jacob and their entire junior class...but nothing ever goes as planned when you're a teenage superhero.

 

After having visions from her brief time on Earth-29, Naomi seeks the advice of her protectors; Naomi receives a special gift from Akira and sets off on a road trip with Annabelle to search for a specific place from a new vision.
 

Naomi must make a decision to protect those she loves most, but in the end, Naomi needs those closest to her to battle a powerful being that has been hunting her since birth.
