Deacon goes on a date with a familiar face. Juliette dives into a self-help movement. Will and Gunnar invite Avery to perform with them. Scarlett is reminded how her career as had a positive influence on fans. Daphne reaches out to Jake.

Daphne struggles with the idea of Deacon dating; Juliette introduces Avery to Darius; Maddie and Jonah record a song, but Maddie finds Jonah's life a little too public; Will learns news about Zach and finds ways to enhance his appearance.

That's My Story
Darius helps Juliette unlock a dark truth about her past; Daphne and Jake bond over each other's dislike of their parents dating; Scarlett volunteers at an equine therapy ranch; Gunnar, Will and Avery struggle to find their sound.

Where the Night Goes
Deacon and Jessie's relationship deepens. Darius invites Juliette to get more involved with the Movement while Avery voices his opinion. Gunnar, Will, and Avery search for a female voice for the band. Jonah's ex releases a song about Maddie.

Daphne struggles to accept Deacon and Jessie's relationship; the new addition to the boys' band becomes a hit; Gunnar falls back into old habits; Scarlett takes an interest in a veteran undergoing equine therapy.

Daphne seeks to establish her career and auditions for a country music singing competition. Scarlett invites Sean to see live music. Avery makes a decision. The band gets invited to perform on late night TV. Will's choice catches up with him.

Will recovers in the hospital and frets about his future after his collapse while performing at the late night show; and Brad gets a restraining order against Deacon, fueling conflict between Deacon and Jessie.

Brad's country music singing competition begins. Daphne is recognized as as a star in the making by Brad and a singing coach. Avery's relationship with Alannah deepens.

No Place That Far
Juliette discovers that Darius Enright's Movement is not the happy utopia that it seemed to be. She demands to leave, but they won't let her. The tension in the group too much to bear.

The House That Built Me
A visitor from the past comes into Deacon's life -- his father, a very unpleasant surprise. With Alannah out of the picture, the band flounders and the guys have to consider whether it's worth continuing.

Strong Enough to Bend
Scarlett tries to help Sean, but he doubts her motives. Deacon deals with forgiveness and a new family dynamic. Feeling out of depth on Nashville's Next, Daphne finds help in judge De Witt.

For the Sake of the Song
Deacon and the girls grow worried when Gideon starts leaving the house. Juliette confronts Darius. Twig tries to keep Jonah's secret from Maddie. Brad's behavior is not limited to Alannah.

I Don't Want to Lose You Yet
A medical scare gets Avery and Juliette talking. Scarlett and Sean organize a ranch benefit. Gunnar gets inspired. Avery questions a relationship. Maddie tests Twig. Deacon learns a secret.
