From Retro to Restoration
Troy Dean Shafer takes on a ranch that underwent its first major renovation in the 1960s. He's hoping to find plenty of the home's original elements and expose its history as he peels back the layers someone else added.

Restoration by the Railroad
Troy Dean Shafer finds a gem next to an old railroad track in Goodlettsville, Tennessee that comes with beautiful land to boot. Now, Troy just has to bring this 19th-century farmhouse up to snuff.

Eastside Flippin'
Troy Dean Shafer restores a 1940s brick ranch-style home in East Nashville. He knows that things don't always go according to plan when dealing with historic homes and this project is no exception. With problems coming at Troy from above and below, can his team pull together to make this home a beauty?

Art Deco and Additions
Nashville house flipper Troy Dean Shafer has big plans for this 1920s home just outside of downtown. He hopes to give this home a true art deco vibe so he's saving, salvaging, antiquing and doing whatever else it takes to make sure his additions feel like they've been around as long as the home's original bones.

A Cozy Cottage
Troy Dean Shafer restores a quaint home from the 1920s just south of downtown Nashville. He adds a bit of custom flair to this historic home by building a vaulted master bedroom and bath before adding custom carpentry for added function.
