French investigators hunt down Paul Touvier, a pro-Nazi sympathizer who was responsible for murdering both Jews and resistance fighters. This 'Hangman of Lyon' hid himself with the assistance of a right wing group associated with the Catholic Church.

Franz Stangl & Gustav Wagner
How Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal tracked down fugitive war criminal Franz Stangl in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was a commandant at Sobibor and at Treblinka. Stangl was responsible for the murder of over 800,000 people.
Hours before he dies, Stangl confesses Gustav Wagner also lives in Sao Paulo. So, Wiesenthal works to bring him to justice. Stangl trained Wagner during the T-4 Euthanasia Program. Later, Wagner was a commandant at Sobibor after Stangl. Known as "the Beast", he is responsible for murdering over 200,000 people.
