Police say a suspect rammed a car into people gathered outside a synagogue in the English city of Manchester, before getting out and stabbing people. The suspect is a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent, according to police. NBC News' Raf Sanchez reports. Two Delta regional jets collided on the tarmac in New York. The impact was strong enough to smash the nose and windscreen on one aircraft. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating what went wrong. NBC News' Sam Brock has the story. In Cranford, New Jersey, a 17-year-boy has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder for allegedly killing Maria Niotis and Isabella Solis. Authorities say the suspect struck the teenage girls with his vehicle. The families of the girls say the attack was intentional. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin has the story. On the eve of his sentencing, Sean ‘Diddy' Combs wrote a letter to the judge asking to return home to his family. He wrote, "I am humbled and broken to my core" and apologized for committing domestic violence, calling it a "heavy burden" that he will "carry forever". Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. NBC News' Laura Jarrett reports. Top Senate Republican John Thune and key Democrat Rep. It comes after the U.S. military targeted boats off the coast of Venezuela it said were carrying drugs. NBC News' Courtney Kube reports.
