Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, appeared at an extradition hearing in Pennsylvania and said he will contest extradition to New York, where he faces murder and weapons charges. NBC News' Stephanie Gosk reports. A wildfire fueled by strong Santa Ana winds blew up in Malibu in Southern California, damaging homes and forcing thousands of residents to evacuate.
