A protest erupted in Los Angeles on Saturday as the region's top federal prosecutor said federal law enforcement operations were "proceeding as planned" across the county. In a new phone interview with NBC News, President Trump on Saturday said there would be "serious consequences" if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP's sweeping budget bill. Grant Hardin, a former Arkansas police chief convicted of rape and murder, was captured Friday after escaping from prison nearly two weeks ago.
