President Trump suggested he would support arresting Gov. Gavin Newsom over immigration enforcement and the protests in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, California is now suing the federal government over its deployment of the National Guard to L.A. NBC News' Jacob Soboroff reports. Tonight, protesters are taking to the streets again in LA as the Trump administration has now mobilized marines in addition to national guard deployments following violent clashes. Democratic officials have criticized Trump for deploying the national guard, while Trump said it's needed to keep law and order in LA. NBC News' Liz Kreutz reports. A federal judge dismissed charges of defamation and civil extortion filed by director and actor Justin Baldoni against his former co-star Blake Lively. Baldoni was asking for at least $400 million in damages. His legal team did not respond to NBC News for comment. Lively's team today saying she's been vindicated. NBC News' Sam Brock has more. The ex-wife and daughter of Rex Heuermann, the man who has pleaded not guilty to killing seven women in connection to the Gilgo Beach murders, speak out in a new documentary debuting on Peacock. NBC News' Stephanie Gosk has a first look. Authorities arrested Manuel Ruiz in connection with the Las Vegas shooting that happened last night. The shooting left two people dead and officials say Ruiz will be booked on two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon. NBC News' Ryan Chandler has the story.
