Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys visit Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, 2024 NFL rushing leader Saquon Barkley and the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles. The opener marks the record 17th matchup between the clubs in NBC's SNF package, and the first time Dallas and Philadelphia will meet in Week 1 since 2000.

2024 NFL Draft first round quarterbacks square off when Michael Penix Jr. and the Atlanta Falcons visit J.J. McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings. Atlanta and Minnesota meet for the 35th time, including the postseason, on Sunday, with the Vikings holding a 22-12 advantage. McCarthy and Penix Jr. faced off once in college, when McCarthy's No. 1-ranked Michigan Wolverines defeated Penix Jr.'s No. 2 Washington Huskies, 34-13, in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. McCarthy threw for 140 yards and added 31 yards on the ground to lead Michigan to its first national title since 1997, while Penix Jr. passed for 255 yards and a touchdown.

Live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Exactly one month after he was traded by the Cowboys, All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons returns to Dallas with new teammate Jordan Love as the Green Bay Packers (2-1) visit Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (1-2) in a historic rivalry game in the Week 4. 

Parsons, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, spent four seasons with the Cowboys, earning four Pro Bowl and two AP All-Pro selections. On Aug. 28, Dallas traded him to Green Bay, where he has 1.5 sacks this season.

The Cowboys (62) and Packers (48) have appeared in the most NBC SNF games since the package began in 2006, and have met the second-most times in NFL postseason history (nine). Sunday night's matchup also marks the 24th game at AT&T Stadium in the NBC SNF package, breaking a first-place tie with the Packers' Lambeau Field and the Steelers' Acrisure Stadium.

Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the undefeated Buffalo Bills (4-0) host Drake Maye and the New England Patriots (2-2) in an AFC East showdown in the Week 5 from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y. 

New England and Buffalo, who have combined to win every AFC East title since 2009, meet for the 132nd time (including postseason) on Sunday, with the Patriots holding a 79-51-1 advantage in the series. Since the start of the 2020 season, Buffalo has won eight of the last 11 meetings. Allen is 10-2 on Sunday Night Football in his career, while this Sunday will be Maye's SNF debut.

Three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs host Jared Goff and the first-place Detroit Lions (4-1) in the Week 6. Live from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. 

Detroit and Kansas City meet for the 16th time on Sunday, with the Chiefs holding a 9-6 advantage in the series. Their last matchup was the 2023 NFL Kickoff Game on NBC and Peacock, which the Lions won, 21-20. Montgomery scored the go-ahead game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter and the Lions' defense stopped a potential game-winning drive by the Chiefs in the closing minutes. 

2023 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey and the San Francisco 49ers (4-2) host NFC rushing leader Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons (3-2) in the Week 7 edition of NBC's Sunday Night Football at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., the site of Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8. 

Atlanta's Robinson, with 822 scrimmage yards, and San Francisco'sMcCaffrey, with 780, lead the NFL in scrimmage yards entering Week 7.

Atlanta and San Francisco, who both played in the NFC West from 1967-2001, meet for the 83rd time on Sunday, with the 49ers holding a 48-33-1 advantage in the series. Their last matchup was Oct. 16, 2022, which the Falcons won, 28-14.

Super Bowl XLV champion and MVP (with Green Bay) Aaron Rodgers and the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) host Jordan Love and the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) in a rematch of Super Bowl XLV in the Week 8. 

Rodgers, who spent 18 seasons in Green Bay, holds the franchise record for passing touchdowns (475) and was named NFL MVP four times while with the Packers. Sunday night's matchup will mark the first time Rodgers faces his former team. With a win, Rodgers would become just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams.

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders host Sam Darnold and the first-place Seattle Seahawks in the Week 9. 

Seattle and Washington meet for the 24th time on Sunday, including the postseason, with the Commanders holding a 13-10 advantage in the series. This will be the first-ever matchup between Darnold and Daniels.

Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) visit Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers (6-3) in the Week 10 edition. Live from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

Sunday marks Rodgers' 42nd game on Sunday Night Football, the most among active players. With two touchdown passes, Rodgers will surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning for the third-most games with multiple touchdown passes in NFL history, as well as extend his record for most touchdown passes in SNF history (89).

The Steelers and Chargers meet for the 37th time on Sunday, including the postseason, with Pittsburgh holding a 25-11 advantage in the series. This will be the first-ever matchup between Rodgers and Herbert.

Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) are atop the NFC East and host Jared Goff and the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions (6-3) in a Week 11 matchup of first-place NFC clubs. 

SNF return to Philadelphia after opening the season with the NFL Kickoff Game when the Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 24-20. In this milestone 20th season of NBC Sunday Night Football, Lions-Eagles is the 20th game in the SNF package to be played at Lincoln Financial Field (fourth-most among all NFL stadiums). 

The two winningest NFC teams since 2022, the Eagles (46 regular-season wins) and Detroit (42) are the only two NFC teams with at least 40 regular-season wins over the past four seasons.

The Lions and Eagles meet for the 37th time on Sunday, including the postseason, with Philadelphia leading the series, 19-16-2. They last played to open the 2022 regular season at Ford Field, where Detroit fell to Philadelphia, 38-35.

Live from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. NFL passing touchdowns leader Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams (8-2) host two-time Pro Bowler Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) in a clash of first-place NFC teams.

The Buccaneers and Rams meet for the 30th time on Sunday, including the postseason, with Los Angeles holding a 19-10 advantage in the series. In 2022, Mayfield filled in for an injured Stafford, starting four games for the Rams. This will be the first-ever matchup between Stafford and Mayfield, who were both drafted No. 1 overall in 2009 and 2018, respectively. 

NFLmatchups as part of the fourth annual "John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration" kick off this Thursday as Lamar Jackson and the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. 

The Ravens aim to win their sixth consecutive game this Thursday night, as they have moved into first place in the AFC North, while quarterback Joe Burrow returns to start for the Bengals for the first time since a toe injury sidelined him after Week 2. Burrow will look to connect with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who leads the AFC in catches (79) and receiving yards (861).

Ravens running back Derrick Henry, in his second season with the team, has a rushing touchdown in 84 career games, including playoffs, surpassing Pro Football Hall of Famer John Riggins (83 games) for the fourth-most games with a rushing touchdown, including postseason, in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith (130 games), Marcus Allen (100) and LaDainian Tomlinson (96), as well as Adrian Peterson (89) have more.

Thursday's matchup will be the 60th overall meeting between the teams, including playoffs, with Baltimore holding a 32-27 advantage. Baltimore (6-5) has won the last four regular season division contests in 2023 and 2024 while Cincinnati (3-8) won the teams' matchup in the 2022 AFC Wild Card game. The Bengals and Ravens have combined to win the past four AFC North titles.
