Negociador - Season 1

Captain Menck returns to work after his wife's death. He faces a hostage heist, discovering that there are motivations beyond money. Tensions arise with their new manager, Major Chacur, and the tactical team, as they try to unravel the criminal's motives.

Menck faces the kidnapping of the heiress of a construction company in São Paulo. Some discoveries raise suspicions and the kidnapped woman runs away, threatening to jump off the roof. At the police station, Major Freitas investigates the accident that led to the death of Sofia, Menck's wife.

Presenter Walter Guerra is replaced at home by a young man. Menck arrives at the occurrence and locates them inside the cellar. The location is difficult to access, the situation is tense. Chacur puts pressure on Siqueira to find an access point for possible action by the tactical team. Siqueira invades the place. Menck arrives too late.

On her wedding day, the bride and her son were held hostage. The kidnapper is her ex-husband and the boy's father. Both are rendered in a hotel room. Menck goes undercover and gains the kidnapper's trust. Menck convinces the kidnapper to drop his weapon, but one oversight could change the outcome of the story.

Menck is interrogated about Sofia's accident. Upon getting into his car, he notices that there is a bomb. He gets a call from Eva and realizes that she and Ian are also in danger. Siqueira heads for Menck's house while Chacur leads the operation in his car.

Chacur is kidnapped by Captain Bismark. Menck negotiates with him, but Bismark is out of control. Menck and Siqueira look for Chacur until the team hears the sound of gunfire. The negotiator needs to hurry, it looks like Bismark has no plans to make it out alive.

The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) is invaded by bandits. Lopes asks Menck to go back on leave. Chacur takes over as negotiator. Menck discovers something about Sofia's accident. Chacur, in the CET lobby, negotiates with the kidnapper, but when she enters captivity she discovers that the exchange she had with the bandit was not so true.

Chacur discovers that the kidnapper is Santa Cruz. He's in a shed directing all the action. The tactical team surrounds the place while Chacur negotiates the lives of the hostages. Menck invades the shed and surrenders Santa Cruz. He believes that the criminal is involved in Sofia's death. The negotiator becomes a kidnapper and threatens to blow up the shed if Chacur interferes.
