Walt and Amanda set up a job interview for a prostitute who's going straight, but things go bad quickly when he ends up being an old "John". Walt has feelings for Amanda, but he's afraid his HIV means the end for them. Walt's fears about his HIV status leads Amanda to assume that he's rejecting her because she's in a wheelchair. A young driver suffers guilt from an accident that killed his brother, now the horse he was caring for may have to be put down after a riding accident.

Pin learns he may have an 11 year old son, who gets arrested on a murder charge. The ranch prepares for a fund-raising celebrity ballgame.

Trouble is the order of the day when one ranch graduate dies, another is kidnapped and someone threatens to slit Kevin's throat. Kevin is stabbed for refusing to give up a girls location, but when they find and abduct her, Michael holds little hope the police will help, and he puts his own life in serious danger to rescue her.
