The tenacious honor student Zhou Wan wants to save her severely-ill grandmother. Failing to get help from her mother who abandoned her, she approaches her mother's step-son, the unruly Lu Xixiao, in an attempt to raise money from her mother. After graduation, romance brews between the two who become each other's rock, but the cruel reality shatters their glorious summer of youth, as misunderstandings drive them apart. Ten years later, they reunite in the workplace. Unable to forget his past heartbreak, Lu repeatedly lashes out at Zhou, only to find that his love for her has never changed. A factory accident brings them together, and their brave and sincere hearts ensure they never part again.
