Bill McNeal dies from a heart attack, leaving the staff to mourn their loss and celebrate his life.

Dave hires Bill's old friend Max Louis, but soon learns that the "veteran" is insecure and inexperienced.

Matthew hires Joe to dig up dirt on Max Louis in order to get him fired; Lisa conducts and undercover restaurant investigation.

The staff becomes concerned when Dave starts spending too much time with a relaxation machine.

Joe's smart drink amazes Dave with its results on Matthew; Max is nervous about Beth.

Jimmy is taken away by the FBI under suspicion of being a fugitive, but Joe vows to free him.

Dave learns that Jimmy has escaped from jail and is hiding in Wisconsin; Lisa is enamored by a new love.

A surprise witness at the trial may tip the scales of justice in Jimmy's favor; Lisa dumps Johnny.

The entire station gets involved when Dave and Lisa vie for the same apartment. 

Jimmy wants to build in New York; Matthew's 30th birthday spurs radical changes that irritate everyone.

Joe hypnotizes Jimmy to help him relive and resolve his feelings from the '60s. 

Lisa discovers her contract allows her to have an assistant, who ends up being attracted to Dave; Jimmy turns the men's room into a cigar lounge. 

Matthew finds out that Jimmy's nemesis, Johnny Johnson, is actually a vagrant battling alcoholism.

As Lisa prepares for her wedding, an undercover cop stalks Johnny for stealing Lisa's ring. 

Max pretends to be leaving WNYX to try and get a date with Beth; Joe dislikes Lisa's new last name.

Dave tries to impose mandatory job descriptions; Joe teaches Matthew and Max martial arts.

Jimmy and Matthew swap places for a day; Lisa finds out about Beth's mail-order scam.

Lisa organizes a farewell party for Jimmy after he announces his retirement. 

Dave ponders his future at WNYX without Jimmy, until he's faced with a bigger problem when the rest of the crew decides to leave.
