Episode 1
The presenter helps more families who are being crushed by their clutter. He begins in Portsmouth, where three generations are squeezed together in a three-bed semi that's bursting at the seams in an extraordinary challenge full of emotion and memories. When Sarah's husband Trevor suddenly passed away, she had to return from Dubai to her old house - in which her daughter Stevie and five-year-old grand-daughter Hermonie were living. Coping with grief, Sarah was unable to face sorting through a lifetime of belongings, so for a year, the house has been totally packed with clutter from the attic to the outhouses, and it's become the way they live.

Episode 2
The presenter heads to the former mill town of Bolton in Greater Manchester to meet a family in a four-bedroom semi overwhelmed by clutter. Nick's team empty their home and transfer 195 boxes of possessions to the Albert Halls in Bolton before creating a sensational makeover.

Episode 3
The presenter heads to Farnborough, Hampshire, where it's make or break for a couple with three children who are squeezed into a cluttered three-bed semi. Nick's team empty the home and lay out 164 boxes of their possessions before a makeover gives mum Georgie, dad Ian and the kids more space.

Episode 4
The presenter heads to the River Thames in London, where a single mum and her three kids are drowning in clutter and living on top of each other in a dysfunctional houseboat. Nick's team empty the abode, and then renovate Anna and her family's floating home.

Episode 5
The presenter heads to Hastings to meet Mike, who lives in a small two-up two-down cottage with his four rescue dogs. Mike developed hip problems, has become more housebound, and clutter has been building up around him. Nick's team empty the home and give it a much-needed makeover, turning a cramped dark cottage into a welcoming airy space.

The Ark
