It's a long weekend of comfort cooking in Nigella's Kitchen where the food is delicious and the cooking is easy. The action starts on Friday night with a fast and fabulous supper of sauteed Scallops with ThaiScented Pea Puree, then it's Saturday lunch for the kids and Nigella's conjuring up an Italian classic, Pasta Alla Genovese, a double carb dish of spaghetti cooked with potatoes and a fabulous home made basil pesto. Then Nigella's cooking Sunday lunch for friends and family and serving meatloaf, America's all time top comfort food. It's her friend Ed's Mother's Meatloaf made with hard boiled eggs hidden inside and served in thick slices with Baked Potatoes drizzled in a divine Blue Cheese Dressing. And for dessert? Strawberry and Almond Crumble with cream - what else could it be.
