Episode 1
On the beat with the police officers of Brighton after dark. Young officers Matt and Will stop an ex-police chief for suspected driving under the influence. But things turn awkward when it turns out she isn't. Determined to prove themselves they attend a suspected arson where they are determined to catch the culprit. Sophie and Rachel investigate a possible street assault that has left a man with life-threatening injuries and Steve comes across a pair of legs sticking out of the bushes. The question is - whose are they?

Episode 2
Documentary going on the beat with the police officers of Brighton after dark. Officer Jack gets a punch to the face as he tries to arrest a man for assault, while PC Ben, in between stopping drunks relieving themselves on the seafront, wrestles a man with a knife.

Episode 3
Afghanistan veteran PC Theo takes charge of a baby after its mother is arrested for being drunk, ex-doorman PC Jack ends up in a scuffle and newbie officer Amy is called to the aid of a vulnerable member of the public.

Episode 4
Tattooed PC Robbie, who's also an aspiring cage fighter, tackles an aggressive male outside a busy pub. Newbie PC Emily, a former BA air hostess, carries out a strip-search on a non-compliant suspect. And Brighton's answer to Cagney and Lacey - PCs Zoe and Vic - launch a desperate search for a vulnerable woman.

Episode 5
PC Will has an unsavoury job dealing with a taxi driver angry that a passenger has been sick in his cab. However, the young officer later gets his chance to shine when he is called to an incident involving a gold-plated gun. Sergeant Andy makes an impromptu stop that leads to a drug bust and PC Jess detains someone for an assault in a strip club.

Episode 6
On the beat with the police officers who patrol the city of Brighton after dark. PC Jack gets called to a street assault, but finding out who is the suspect and who is the victim proves difficult. PCs Matt and Amelia find a bloody-handed youth on a bus after reports of a smashed window and PC Aj chases down a suspected house burglar.

Episode 7
PC Jack is taken aback when early into the night shift two partygoers ask him if he can help them find their weed, while seasoned cops Matt and Emma reminisce about some of the worst insults they have received. But the night takes a darker turn when Jack is called to help a young woman who has been spiked in a nightclub, and PCs Amelia and Craig attend a mass brawl outside a pub, only to be accused of ruining a suspect's life.

Episode 8
PC Sophie has to deal with a flirty suspect in a street brawl and PC Vic arrests a young man on suspicion of GBH. PCs Roger and Jess are called in when a Santa bus comes under attack, with Father Christmas pelted with soft mints, although their night gets tougher when they are called to deal with an irate suspect at a nightclub.
