The New Orleans EMS team treats a series of patients in precarious situations, including a woman with an airway obstruction, a man stabbed in the neck, and a pedestrian struck in the French Quarter.

Connected
First responders find themselves deeply affected by multiple patients across New Orleans, including an old friend suffering from an overdose and a vacationing nurse dealing with personal trauma.

Family Matters
The NOEMS first responders treat children across the city, from kids involved in a car accident to a one-year-old having a seizure, and find themselves touched by the connection they feel to their youngest and most vulnerable patients.

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
